WORKSHOPS
Do I have to come back for a second workshop to glaze my piece?
No, I've mixed about 40 different engobe colours, that you can paint your piece with, so the workshop price is the final price. This doesn't mean that you can't come back and glaze your piece if you don't find suitable colour for yourself out of the 40. That will be extra 20€. You can request pictures of both – available glazes and engobes before you come to the workshop.
Why is the mimimum time to recieve items 3 weeks?
Clay contains moisture – water evaporating in heat creates steam. That steam in the kiln will exit your piece with such power it will explode. This means your piece needs to be 100% dry before I can put it in the kiln so it won't explode destroying your item and possibly others around it. Depending on the thickness of the piece that can take up to two weeks especially in the spring and autum times when the humidity high. The final week is for glazing and finishing. It doesn't mean you will not recieve your item before 3 weeks, it just means you shouldn't expect it.
Can I bring my own snacks or drinks?
Yes, however I recommend booking an extra hour for the workshop, so you have time to eat and chat. Otherwise you might feel rushed. Extra hour is 50€.

Typically yes. The wait time will depend where I am in the proccess of making. Please get in touch!
Can I make an order for custom piece?
Maybe? If it's my regular piece in a different size, a different glaze of mine or in my general pallette with a twist – sure!
If it's a completely original idea but still within my style, there will be an extra charge as I need to do some experimenting in the studio to get exacty what you are after. Please get in touch!
If it's something you saw on Pinterest or another shop – sadly not. The process of ceramics is very long – to get to the point where I'm happy with the form and glaze is even longer. Also I will not copy another makers work, so if you do like something that someone is making, please support them!
